We love quartz because, not only is it extremely durable, but it also provides you with plenty of colour choices which natural stone doesn’t allow for.
This is a great example- Caesarstone’s ‘Ocean Foam’ 20mm quartz worktops give an extremely modern, sleek look to this kitchen in Falmouth. No matter if you’re looking for plain whites, more orthodox colours like the Atlantic Salt in the next project, or even Tutti-Frutti-esque patterns, quartz provides it all.
This kitchen was completed once again in partnership with Kitchen Kit, based in Threemilestone, Truro. We are always extremely pleased to put the cherry on top and be the ‘glory boys’ for their kitchens!
This is a great job we completed with our friends- fellow family business and football-enthusiasts, Kitchen Kit.
We topped off their Ballerina Kitchen with our 20mm Caesarstone Atlantic Salt quartz worktops. Kitchen Kit are one of many great kitchen companies that we work with in order to give you the best experience.
Because of our long relationships that we’ve built up over many years and hundreds of kitchens with companies like Kitchen Kit, we are able to offer you a stress-free experience at the best price meaning that you get the kitchen of your dreams. Sound too good to be true? Kitchen Kit received the following feedback for this kitchen..
‘All in all we believe we have now got a unique high end quality kitchen that will last for ever’.
Just before Lockdown 1.0, we were able to complete this wonderful Belvedere quartzite job for our great friend from So Kipling, Odile, who makes beautiful hand-build kitchens and furniture from her workshop in Devoran.
I remember going to visit our suppliers way up north (Reading) a year ago and being really struck by this one particular quartzite. I loved it so much that I ordered a few for our new yard in order to make an impression when people drove past on their way to Tesco.
Sometimes in the absence of any great sprawling island unit, people are reluctant to choose these big, veiny, statement-pieces fearing that the beauty will be lost when cut down for smaller units.
We always encourage you to come down, see the slab for yourself and choose the parts of the slab that you want for your worktop. That way, the stone can be shown off exactly how you want it to be without losing any of the beauty and character.
As much as it is nice to have things in life refined, polished and smooth it is equally nice to have something a little more rugged. Something that you can imagine has been shaped by many Cornish winters.
Our customers certainly agreed here. Their choice of the Cornish-style ‘Galaxy Grey’ 30mm worktops with a leathered, textured finish combined perfectly with the slate flooring to give a really natural look, without compromising on the quality or durability of their worktops.
I’ll leave their words to say the rest.. ‘I just wanted to say how pleased we are with the job you have done. The worktops look amazing. I would also like to compliment your team. They have been a pleasure to have in the house. Their skill and professionalism is a credit to you all. I would have no qualms about whole heartedly recommending you’.
We were approached to do the worktops for a renovated home in St Ives. It presented many challenges for us- not only due to access- but also because of the granite pillar that the customer wanted the peninsular to mould around
Expert templating and delicate fitting meant that we achieved a ‘truly stunning job’ in the words of our delighted customer. They had opted for 30mm Blanco Orion Silestone worktops- the subtle marbling-effect of the worktop gives a traditional, elegant look that matches the style of the kitchen perfectly.
Silestone quartz worktops are scratch and stain resistant and extremely durable in the face of falling objects which make them perfect for your busy household and clumsy kids!
We were approached by a couple in Lanner who wanted to give their kitchen a facelift by replacing the worktops.
We were happy to take on the challenge and we removed their previous worktops and installed the new 40mm Absolute Black ones. All in one day!
Safe to say that our customers were very impressed..
‘What a transformation the granite worktops have made to our kitchen. Tom and his team have done a thorough and highly professional job and come highly recommended.’
This is one of my personal favourites. Orinoco granite is just as crazy and vibrant as the name suggests. With a busy, veined granite such as Orinoco, the full-height splashbacks are essential to show it off properly and the same effect could be achieved by having it as a big island piece.
We were really pleased with the finish and again, the bold contrast with the white units make it even more impressive.
We have an extensive list of trade clients with whom we liaise to ensure that the end product is fabulous. In this case a local designer, Beaten Green, contacted us to provide the worktops for a Carbis Bay holiday home.
This Pure White 30mm quartz from Caesarstone is perfect for a contemporary home that has light flowing into it. The white contrasts beautifully with the midnight blue of the units.
On top of all of this, the worktops themselves are scratch, stain and holiday-home resistant. Result!
This stunning ‘Azul Cielo’ (Blue Sky) quartzite was chosen by our customers to make an impact in their new extension.
We sourced bookmatched slabs to ensure that the vein in the stone flowed seamlessly down the ‘waterfall’ and everyone was over-the-moon with the result- no-one more so than the customers!
