Some clients are so pleased with their kitchen worktops that they decide to use granite elsewhere in their homes and Mrs S of Plymouth is no exception.  Her very clever husband built this unusual vanity unit for their bathroom.  They chose Caramello granite for the vanity top, the beautiful browns, greys and creams in this stone complemented their choice of fitments and furnishings well.

 

The vanity top was made in one piece with an ogee profile on the edge.  The whole top was then fitted over wooden posts and after it was in situ the very clever husband fitted a double mirror.  The unit can now be used from both sides and makes a wonderful centrepiece to the bathroom.  A wonderful way to utilise extra space in a room!
